AER Control Systems has designed and built industrial air filtration equipment in North Haven, Connecticut for more than 25 years. We are a small team, and we are offering a unique position for an experienced Application Engineer.

Open position: Application Engineer

On-site in North Haven, CT

You will size and specify air filtration systems for customers across a wide range of industries, working directly with our team, outside manufacturing representatives, and engineers from other disciplines.

Experience you will need

You understand and have worked with:

  • Dust collection
  • Mist collection
  • Fume collection

Technical knowledge

  • Airflow calculations
  • Static pressure calculations
  • Motor and fan selection

Codes and regulations

Experience working within the guidelines set by:

  • NFPA 660, Standard for Combustible Dusts and Particulate Solids
  • OSHA regulations

Working with others

  • The ability to work with outside manufacturing representatives and with engineers from other fields
  • Sales experience is a plus

We do not require a specific degree. What matters is that you have done this work.
